We were delighted to hear from some of our CoCID members at the “Pathogens: New Insights from Imaging Techniques” conference, highlighting how Soft X-ray Tomograpgy (SXT) has benefitted their research in the field of virology!
We got to hear from;
⭐Prof. Maija Vihinen-Ranta, University of Jyvaskyla, elaborated on her virology research, “Herpesvirus(HSV)-induced cellular changes revealed by cryo-soft X-ray tomography”
⭐Prof Nicola Fletcher, University College Dublin, covered her research into Hepatitis E, “A One Health and Correlative Imaging Approach”
⭐Dr. Victoria Castro presented her work on Hepatitis C “Rapid Hepatitis C Virus Replication Machinery Removal After Antiviral Treatment With Direct-acting Antiviral Drugs Monitored By Multimodal Imaging”
